I migrated from Hamburg to Auckland with my family in 1995 to take up a job offer as Chartering Manager for a shipbroking company. 21 years later I semi-retired to take up a new job in Health-homecare, a very satisfying job, which I am keeping up here in Whanganui.

The history of Whanganui will lead us into the future once the Port is active again and the Sarjeant Gallery will have its international recognition. I am keen to contribute my professional expertise to this path.

I also wish to focus on: Developing a hospital especially for incapacitated seniors; St. Johns ambulance services to be fully funded; Attracting young families to settle in Whanganui, providing attractive living spaces and jobs.
