My principal place of residence is in the Whanganui District area.
I am seeking your support for re-election to the Whanganui District Council. As a councillor, my focus is on promoting decency and respect, I want Council to be a place where a variety of opinions are welcomed. I have always maintained a high attendance record, and my proudest achievement has been to secure funding for the Youth Places and Spaces Project in the 2021-2031 Long Term Plan. My vision for the future is one where Te Awa Tupua (the Whanganui River) forms the basis of our identity. I want Council to expand its role providing housing solutions and for our public spaces and events to reflect diverse and multicultural populations. I am employed with the NZ Masters Games coordinating the Sports Programme and am Chairperson of Age Concern and Youth Services Trust. I sit on the St Anne’s Catholic School board and am an independent marriage & civil union celebrant.
