The Change we Need
My principal place of residence is in the Whanganui District area.
With a farm upbringing and a career in the corporate and consulting world including global and executive roles in organisations such as IBM Global Services, National Australia Bank and Deloitte Consulting; I am as comfortable in the boardroom as the shearing shed. Additionally, I have degrees in economics, finance and marketing from Massey University.
I have established a strong reputation and considerable experience consulting with local government. This includes facilitating Whanganui District Council’s foremost strategy Leading Edge plus working with Palmerston North City Council, Wellington City Council, Tararua District Council and Council Controlled Organisations.

With the support of my wife Carolyn, our children, a significant number of business, social, political and community leaders, I am ready to serve, lead and be the Change We Need for Whanganui.
