Kia Orana everyone.

I am William Mataio Ashworth. I am retired. My wife, Rowena, and I have lived in the Fordell area for the past 41 years.

We have 4 adult children who reside in the Whanganui, Rangitikei districts. We have 4 lovely grand children who occupy much of our time.

I have served on the Fordell Baths, Fordell School BOT and Fordell Hall committees over the years and enjoy contributing to local affairs.

I am standing once again for the Whanganui Rural Community Board.

The RCB has an advisory role in Council.

The rural population percentage is small compared to the urban, so it is essential that the rural views and concerns are represented at the Council table.

I am grateful for the support I have received in the past and hope this continues.
